OMG English Comp!

I've finally finished my four week English Composition class! That class was probably one of the MOST brain-exhausting classes that I've had to date. It wasn't because the class was hard (I never got anything lower than an A) but I found the instructors style challenging. We had NO Wimba (virtual class) Sessions, hardly any feedback on our assignments, and little to NO classmate interaction! In the past, my classes were easier because we had weekly classes where we could ask questions, chat with each other, and get to know exactly what our instructor wanted from us. With this class. . . we were kind of on our own. Yes you can email your instructors but I PREFER to see who I'm talking to AT SOME POINT!

This class was also different because we had TWO PAPERS due every week. They ranged in wording demands but, they were usually between 400-600 words each! Once we had completed our papers we had to post them in the activity FOR ALL TO SEE! Now personally, I didn't mind others reading my work but some of the papers I read were. . . interesting. . . (I'm going to leave it at that) It made me wonder what kind of grades they were getting. AND SPEAKING OF GRADES, when I received a 100 on a paper I would go to read the comments from the instructor and . . . there weren't any. . . Really? You couldn't just say what was good, what you liked, and what was interesting? I think my former instructors have spoiled me!

Oh well, all is great and I finished the class with a 98.5 (I used a comma wrong and he didn't like my sentence in one post) and I'm on to Storytelling! This class looks like it's gonna be a good one!

Until next time!
